Colors

I used the Space Invaders Template, so my start screen is based on an old arcade game machine. Based on the readings, I made put light blue in the middle of all of the dark blue because it draws attention to it. I also used the color schemes from the reading to help with the colors that I chose, so that they went together and were appealing to the eye. I also used the shape and size of the arcade-style buttons to have them there, but not be too much of the screen. I tried to keep the font space-themed because the game is based on the Space Invaders Template.

Uncanny Game Characters What is Uncanny Valley? Uncanny Valley is a term used to describe how bad visuals take away from the emotional attraction of a creation. Uncanny Valley uses a graph to show how visuals can take away from the emotional aspect of a creation. The graph is based on social perception of a creation. The graph is broken up into three catagories, Movement, Appearance, and Overall.
